What is it?
A Medical Grade treatment using a combination of Light and Heat, LHE™ (Light Heat Energy) delivers a powerful photothermal treatment to the dermis — where every skin cell is born, and where many skin problems originate. This modality combination also tightens the skin, stimulating collagen and elastin. LHE™ technology makes it possible for anyone to enjoy a light-based treatment with extremely low risk while being extremely safe, especially as some skin types can’t undergo IPL laser therapy. LHE™ helps to soften fine lines + wrinkles, lift pigment and homogenizes your skin tone – giving you overall healthier looking skin.
We offer 3 different versions of this treatment — LHE™ MicroPhoto : an introductory but powerful strength treatment, LHE™ Advance Photo Facial : a stronger light modality than MicroPhoto for advanced Skin Rejuvenation and Pigment treatment, and LHE Advance Acne : for Acne Clearance. All modalities are FDA cleared and have clinical studies proving efficacy.
How does it work?
LHE™ uses patented and FDA cleared Light and Heat Energy which is a non-invasive, non-ablative treatment that does not harm or damage the outer-layer of skin. For Pigment spot treatment, the light directly targets the pigments melanin. The heat that follows the light pulse coagulates sun / age spots by heating the entire treated area and accumulatively reaching the required coagulation temperature. The coagulated cells are eliminated by a natural process and replaced by new cells. For Fine Lines & Wrinkles, LHE™ selectively inflicts Micro Thermal Trauma in the dermal-epidermal junction, triggering a wound-healing process while new collagen remodels under an undamaged outer layer. For Acne, optimal light wavelength (especially green & red) penetrate into the follicle to target the P-Acnes by triggering porphyrin activation, attacking the acne bacteria and destroying it. Red light in the acne hand piece also produces anti-inflammatory results.
Results?
LHE™ can be performed on the face, neck, décolleté, and hands. The unique combination of Light & Heat energy maintains lower heat levels the any other light-based modality, allowing for the highest safety margins without the need for skin cooling. This treatment has various strengths and attachments, see below for the different options to do a full LHE™ facial, a stand-alone treatment, or add-on to another facial. There is a Microphoto LHE™ version, LHE™ Advanced Photo Rejuvenation version, LHE™ Advanced Acne version. Although you can feel and see results after one treatment, six to eight sessions are recommended for best results — packages are available for a series of 6.
